Michelle & Phil
Michelle and Phil had organised a short and informal wedding service, with the majority of their guests arriving in the evening for the reception party. The format of the party was a three course meal, speeches, cutting of the cake followed by the bridal waltz/first dance.
The reception party was held in a large ballroom on the Gold Coast with 155 guests and a variation in age, ranging from teenagers to elderly relatives aged 70 years and over. Although Michelle, along with her Mum Gabriel, had organised almost every other aspect of the wedding, they were unsure as to what type of live band or wedding music would be most suitable for them, especially as neither of the family where particularly musical. Once the formalities were finished they wanted all their guests to be able to relax and dance the evening away, between the hours of 8.00pm and 12.00 midnight.
- Size of the ballroom, ample P.A. wattage required, acoustics maybe affected
- Large variation in age range of the guests
- Requirement for dancing between times of 8.00pm and 12.00 midnight
- No particular type of music stated as preferable due to Michelle, Phil or Gabriel not being particularly musical.
The wedding band recommended by Bespoke Entertainment agents were selected due to their vast experience with weddings of this nature, their sound system and lighting rig where of sufficient power and quality to accommodate a ballroom of this size. The live band in question also has a very large repertoire, covering songs from the 60’s right through to modern day chart music, suiting the wide age range of Michelle and Phil’s guests. The selected wedding band have the ability to change their song choice impromptu, therefore keeping the dance floor busy at all times.
In addition to the above, the chosen live band also provided a suitable selection of dance tracks played during their two breaks, thus meeting the requirement for dancing between the times of 8.00pm and 12.00 midnight.
Selected live band $1,400
Total cost $1,400
